Against the backdrop of increasingly stringent environmental policies and rising energy costs, enterprises and factories are placing higher demands on steam equipment that offers high capacity, high efficiency, and low emissions. The TGBOILER SZS Series oil/gas-fired boilers (i.e., double-drum, longitudinal “D”-type water-tube boilers) have become the preferred solution for medium- to large-capacity industrial steam needs, thanks to their core advantages, including an exceptionally large heat transfer area, stable operation, and ultra-low nitrogen emissions.
This article provides an in-depth analysis of the TGBOILER SZS Series boilers, covering key parameters, technical features, performance advantages, and application scenarios, to help businesses make more informed decisions regarding boiler selection and equipment evaluation.
SZS series oil and gas-fired steam boilers are industrial units fueled by natural gas or petroleum. They feature a double-drum, “D”-type, vertical design, with the furnace on the right and the convection tube bundle on the left. The boiler is secured to the base frame via movable supports located at the center and both ends of the lower drum, allowing the entire boiler to expand toward both ends.
The furnace is surrounded by membrane water-cooled walls. The membrane water-cooled wall on the left side of the furnace completely seals off the furnace from the convection tube bundle. The rear section of the convection tube bundle features a sparse, staggered arrangement, while the front section has a parallel arrangement. Flue gases generated by combustion in the furnace enter the combustion chamber and the convection tube bundle zone through the flue gas outlet at the rear of the furnace. They then turn toward the front left side of the boiler and enter the spiral finned tube economizer and condenser before finally entering the flue and being discharged into the atmosphere.

Double-drum “D”-type longitudinal layout: Rational and compact design with extremely high space utilization.
Full-film water-cooled wall structure: Excellent sealing performance, high thermal efficiency, and large radiant heat transfer area.
Low-nitrogen and environmentally friendly: Its low-nitrogen combustion technology achieves ultra-low emissions and zero flue gas leakage; combined with condensation-based waste heat recovery in the boiler tail section, thermal efficiency reaches over 98%, significantly reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Large-capacity, integrated, and quick-assembly design: Facilitates transportation and shortens on-site construction and installation time.
Low investment cost: The compact structure saves space and reduces construction investment costs.
The boiler features a full-membrane water-cooled wall structure on all sides, ensuring excellent sealing, minimizing heat loss, and preventing flue gas leakage.
The high-temperature zone of the boiler body employs a forced-circulation composite water circulation structure, ensuring reliable cooling of all heat exchange surfaces and preventing vaporization.
The boiler body is equipped with a high-quality aluminosilicate insulation layer, which provides excellent thermal insulation and heat retention, minimizes heat loss, and achieves energy savings of over 5%.
Compatible with natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), city gas, biogas, light oil, and heavy oil, meeting multi-fuel requirements while minimizing environmental pollution.
Equipped with an economizer for more thorough condensation and heat exchange, which improves heat transfer efficiency and reduces flue gas temperature.
Operates under slight positive pressure with low power consumption; capable of overload operation; easy to maintain with low repair costs.
The extra-large combustion chamber design ensures complete fuel combustion, resulting in high combustion efficiency and minimal pollution
SZS oil and gas-fired boilers are widely used in the chemical, papermaking, machinery, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, brewing, construction materials processing, and fire-resistant materials processing industries, among others
The SZS series oil/gas-fired boilers not only offer outstanding thermal efficiency and stable steam supply capabilities but also meet ultra-low nitrogen environmental emission requirements in various regions, making them the ideal choice for factories and enterprises seeking to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and achieve green production.
